Stress, Proteostasis, and RNA Dynamics: Neurochemical Mechanisms in Brain Function and Disease
The University of Algarve will host the ISN Advanced School 2026 – International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), from 25 to 31 October 2026, under the theme “Stress, Proteostasis, and RNA Dynamics: Neurochemical Mechanisms in Brain Function and Disease”.
This one-week advanced school will bring together national and international participants for an intensive training experience in the field of neurochemistry. The programme will include an integrated set of scientific and educational activities focused on the latest advances in this area, aiming to provide a structured learning environment of high scientific standard. The initiative will promote knowledge sharing and interaction between participants and leading experts in the field.
In addition to its scientific component, the school will include workshops dedicated to the development of professional skills, as well as networking opportunities, fostering engagement between early-career researchers and internationally recognised specialists.
